Dear Santa,

My name is Jenny and I study in 4th grade. I have a small brother, Jeff and he studies in the 1st grade. We both have put up the Christmas tree and decorated it very nicely. I have been a good girl this year but once I hit my classmate Sarah because she was teasing me due to my dark skin. I and Jeff want a puppy for this Christmas. So please bring us one cute little puppy from North Pole. Mom and Dad said we can have a puppy when we grow up.Now we have grown up, I am 9 years old and Jeff is also 6 years old. I know you like pasta because you ate all the pasta we had kept last year. This year also we have kept pasta for you. Please don’t forget to bring our puppy.

Dear Jenny & Jeff,

Thank you for your lovely mail and I will try my best to bring your puppy. But you have to promise me that you won’t hit anybody. You are very beautiful, my children. If somebody teases you because of your skin color tell them that Santa Claus said every child is beautiful, no matter what skin color he or she has. Always remember this.
I have to go now because I have lots of letters to write. You both need to sleep early on Christmas Eve because I visit only those homes where children go to bed early. Wish both of you and your parents a Merry Christmas!
