Dearest Santa,

There is only one thing I want this year. My Daddy is in Army and he has gone to a far away country to fight the bad people. I just want you to bring Daddy home for Christmas. I miss Daddy a lot and I know Mom also misses him. I have been a good boy and studied very hard in school. I also scored an A+ in the Science test. So, I hope you will fulfill my wish and bring Daddy home soon.

Thank you for your sweet letter. I know you have been a nice and obedient boy. I’ll try my best to bring your Daddy home for Christmas. But you don’t need to be sad if he doesn’t come. You should be proud of your Daddy for fighting the bad people. My elves have packed some nice presents for you; I hope you’ll like them. And make sure to keep aside some cookies for me and some carrots for my reindeer, we get very hungry after travelling so much.
